ChainIT employs cutting-edge biometric identification technology to authenticate your government-issued identification. This is accomplished by cross-referencing your physical ID with the selfie capture you provide and comparing it to the government ID database. When a match is confirmed, a unique biometric template is generated, based on the image taken and the ID provided. These details are securely recorded in a tamper-proof Digital Identity that you, the consumer, own and control. This approach focuses on enhancing security and privacy in the digital identity verification process.
Understanding the BeingID Levels
1. Government Direct:
A digital ID that is issued by the state government.
2. Direct Government DB Validation at Residence:
Biometrics and information from the Government Issued ID are checked directly against the government database.
3. Direct Government DB Validation not at Residence:
Biometrics and information from the Government Issued ID are checked directly against the government database.
4. AAMVA Validation at Residence:
Data fields from Government Issued ID are checked against AAMVA.
5. AAMVA Validation not at Residence:
Data fields from Government Issued ID are checked against AAMVA.
6. No Government Database Check at Residence:
No DB checks available for Government Issued ID, but ID passes fraud checks.
7. No Government Database Check not at Residence:
No DB checks available for Government Issued ID, but ID passes fraud checks.
8. Passport Verification:
Passport passes fraud checks but residence location cannot be verified.
9. Event-Based Verification:
For individuals recorded at 5+ events without government ID.
10. Human Being Verification:
Individual passes a liveness check but does not upload a Government Issued ID.
